You know what? The part of me that still holds onto Stelena (and Elena, being part of Stelena) came up with this:

Maybe Elena chose Damon because she knows she doesn’t deserve Stefan after all the ways she ripped his heart out, and that he deserves better than her. She wanted him to take the cure and be human. Maybe she also wanted him to find someone he deserves.

I know it’s probably not true, but I hope it could be.

I’m usually more mature than that, really. I believe that shipwars are stupid and unnecessary, and I think that everyone should concentrate on supporting their favorite ships without hating on others.

But I’m so pissed off right now, I have to spit it out.

Needless to say, that love confession was pretty pitiful, not epic in any way.

If I shipped Delena I would be disappointed. I was always hardcore Stelena but there were times (mostly in the beginning of season 3) that I could even like Delena a little bit.

Well, that is long gone. It’s not only about the fact that Delena happened, it’s more about the how it happens and it gets worse every time…

In season 3, as much as I wasn’t content with it, it was somewhat acceptable.

But the way everything turned out this season?

Actually had a lump in my throat when I saw Stefan’s face after Elena chose Damon.

Right after that I went straight to ‘I’m so done’. Ugh.

I really hope it’s just the sire bond back because Elena’s emotions are back, or even that it was Silas and not Elena (I know it wasn’t, but come on, more stupid things than that have happened in this show).
